DCE No.2 Soybean Futures Delivery Quality Standard (FB/DCE D001-2005)
1. Scope The Standard herein dictates the quality guidelines, classification standards and inspection methods for No.2 Soybeans delivered at the DCE. The Standard herein applies to DCE futures contract delivery standards for standard and substitute No.2 Soybeans. The Standard herein refers to Soybeans with a yellow seed coat; a yellow-brown, light-brown, dark-brown or black inside; and with a round, oval or oblate shape. 2. Standards cited The following documents’ provisions, by means of this standard’s citation, have become this standard’s provisions. For those documents noted with dates, their amendments and revised versions have not been applied to this standard; for those without noted dates, their latest version has been applied to this standard. 4.3 Control guidelines for soybean storage quality: Warehouse entry guideline: suitable for storage Warehouse exit guideline: no deterioration 4.4 Permitted range of broken kernels of scattered and deliverable soybeans at time of warehouse exit: ≤25% 4.5 Sanitation inspection and propagation quarantine are executed subject to the relevant national standards and rules. 5. Inspection Methods 5.1 Inspection of general rules is subject to SN/T 0799-1999. 5.2 Methods of sample and sampling are subject to SN/T 0800.1-1999. 5.3 Inspection of crude fat is subject to SN/T 0803.3-1999. 5.4 Inspection of crude protein is subject to SN/T 0803.9-1999. 5.5 Inspection of moisture and volatiles is subject to SN/T 0803.7-1999. 5.6 Inspection of impurities is subject to SN/T 0803.6-1999. 5.7 Inspection of broken, damaged and heat-damaged kernels is subject to SN/T 0803.2-1999. 5.8 Inspection of color and odor is subject to SN/T 0798-1999 and SN/T 0800.1-1999. 5.9 Control guidelines for storage quality are subject to No.148 of National Grain [1999]: Grain and Oil Storage Quality Judgment Rules (temporary) Notes: The DCE is responsible for the interpretation of the standard herein.
